đž How We Store Your Data
IndexedDB Technology
ShareHive uses IndexedDB, a browser-based database system that stores data locally on your device. This technology provides:
- Fast, efficient local data storage
- Offline access to all your information
- No dependency on external servers
- Automatic persistence across browser sessions
Storage Limitations
Browser storage has some limitations you should be aware of:
- Most browsers allocate 50-100MB for IndexedDB per origin
- Some browsers may offer more with user permission
- Mobile browsers typically have smaller storage limits
- Large files may impact browser performance
â ī¸ Data Persistence Warning
Your data can be lost if you:
- Clear your browser's cache and site data
- Use incognito/private browsing mode
- Uninstall or reset your browser
- Switch to a different browser or device
Always export your data regularly as backup!

- Search and Filter: To help you find specific information
- Calculations: To calculate expense totals, project progress, etc.
- Persistence: To save your data between sessions
- Export/Import: To backup and restore your data
